I’m the Head of Bioinformatics at the Quadram Institute Bioscience
Highlights
>500 Hours of training I devlivered a number of hands on training, as on-contract professor at the University of Padua, as lead bioinformatician of BMR Genomics, and mostly as Head of Bioinformatics at the Quadram Institute.
18+ Years in genomics & bioinformatics I had the privilege of starting my PhD at the beginning of the Next-Generation Sequencing revolution, working both in academia and industry to deliver reliable and FAIR methods for the analysis of datasets.
>100.000 Downloads from BioConda I contribute to and develop bioinformatics packages for microbial genomics, and NGS data handling. Some tools, like SeqFu, have been downloaded thousand times from BioConda.
